AAR Mobility Systems is a global supplier of Rapid Deployment Equipment and Expeditionary Systems that enhance military commanders’ ability to mobilize, deploy, manoeuvre and sustain forces; and enable peacekeeping and emergency response organizations to quickly deploy assets where and when they are needed the most.

AAR applies an in-depth knowledge of military transport systems, innovative design configurations, and rugged construction elements into each of their air-mobile shelters. Proprietary shelter design elements expedite aircraft on- and off-load, streamline set-up and pack-up for tactical manoeuvres or redeployments, and fit in a minimal airlift footprint while providing an expandable configuration for increased operational workspace.

AAR’s Lightweight Internal Airlift/Helicopter Slingable Container Units (ISU^® Containers) are the standard by which other air-transportable shipping and storage containers are measured. To date, AAR has manufactured over 45,000 ISU containers, and offers over a variety of sizes, configurations, kits, and accessories to meet customer requirements. The ISU’s integrated pallet base allows for direct aircraft on- and off-load in virtually any transport restraint rail system including the C-130, C-17, C-27, CH-47, CASA 295, and A400M, making these containers the optimal solution for mobilizing and storing equipment, spare parts, and high value cargo.

AAR also leads the way in 463L air cargo pallet production, and offers a variety of seat pallets and V.I.P. custom platforms. They have been the sole source of new and remanufactured 463L pallets to the U.S. Air Force since the 1960’s, and continue to develop new palletized systems to meet emerging customer requirements.
