ALUMINIUM 2006, World Trade Fair & Conference

ALUMINIUM 2006 is the world’s biggest market platform around one of the most sustainable materials and its versatile applications. Every two years the international experts converge on Essen for three days. About 13.500 professionals are expected from 20-22 September to ALUMMINIUM 2006. What they are looking for are innovative solutions and the latest technological developments related to all aspects of aluminium. More than 600 exhibitors are expected to come from 37 countries to present their products and services dedicated to the material aluminium - from the raw material to semi-finished and finished products, surface treatment and producers of machinery, plant and equipment for aluminium processing and manufacturing, Light-metals trade, consultancy and expert opinions.

ALUMINIUM is complemented by one of the industry’s leading conferences. In a comprehensive series of lectures a variety of subjects ranging from the development of alloys to processing and application will be covered. The event will take place in the Congress Center Süd in parallel to ALUMINIUM 2006.

Alongside ALUMINIUM 2006 the new trade fair COMPOSITES EUROPE will be launched. The new composites trade fair is designed for small and medium sized enterprises with the focus on composites applications and solutions. Like ALUMINIUM the aim of COMPOSITES EUROPE is to present at one central trade fair in Europe the entire development and manufacturing chain, from raw materials and process engineering through to practical applications and finished products.
