Sialon II is the second generation Sialon especially developed for today's severe industrial applications in the world aluminium industry.

This new isostatically pressed ceramic shows a major impact fracture toughness improvement compared to Sialon I or Syalon.

Excellent non-wetting properties and a smooth surface are also important new features.

Sialon II can now be manufactured in nearly all shapes (up to +/- 0,5mm).

NEW Sialon II^™ Heater Tube for ALPUR^® degassing systems has proven better non-wetting properties resulting in a 2.5 better Thermal Conductivity (38W/mK). And less breakage because of its high impact fracture toughness.

Its Thermal Conductivity is 38W/mK against 17W/mK of other Sialons or Syalon make it the best choice for Heater Tubes!
