In the design of hydraulic machinery, ANDRITZ AG has done true pioneering work. The first water turbines were planned, designed and manufactured here more than 120 years ago!
Hydraulic machines supplied by ANDRITZ have since then helped to ensure electric current supply in many countries across the globe.

Extensive research and development in the laboratories and test stands of ASTRÖ Institute of hydraulic research, a Graz-based affiliate of ANDRITZ-AG, form the foundation stone for this.
