The Apartment Service is the largest booking agent for serviced apartments in Europe. Our website offers over 3000 serviced apartment locations worldwide for stays of one night, one week, one month or a year. The Apartment Service was founded in 1981.

From its origins as a booking agent for serviced apartments worldwide, The Apartment Service has grown to also provide its own unique brands of serviced apartments for mainly corporate stays.

In 1997 Executive Roomspace was introduced, the first brand in corporate housing in the UK, which offers fully furnished and serviced corporate apartments in key locations in London and other cities in the UK. The apartments provide all the amenities expected of a modern corporate apartment. A cleaning service is provided weekly.

In 2002 The Apartment Service expanded on this success and introduced Roomspace Serviced Apartments. A similar concept to Executive Roomspace, with the difference being that these apartments can be rented for stays of one week or more, offering more flexibility to the corporate traveller. At present we offer more than 300 serviced apartments in many locations in the UK and we have recently opened our first serviced apartments outside the UK, in Lisbon. Santos River Apartments offers 14 fully furnished and serviced apartments for stays of one week or more. More European locations will follow.

Due to changing demands, corporate travellers increasingly require flexibility in their accommodation solutions and therefore TAS has introduced Roomspace Solutions in 2005. This service, specifically aimed at the medium to larger corporate clients, aims to provide a flexible accommodation solution for individual clients, based on their historical and projected needs for short term accommodation, to save the client money and take away all the hassle of sorting out their accommodation solutions.

2008 has started now and this will be a very exciting year for The Apartment Service. The launch of our new website is imminent, which will offer a completely interactive XML interface and a renewed booking engine, which will enable us to make bookings in real time and offer availability from a wide variety of sources. The website will also see enhanced search capability and a more flexible use of data.

We are also taking Roomspace Solutions into Europe, with the introduction of CAS (Complete Accommodation Solutions), in cooperation with local relocation agents who will provide invaluable knowledge on the ground in the destination city. With CAS we will provide a complete relocation service for our clients.
