Facts and figures

We are over 300 people, 52 of whom are partners. We work across all major practice areas, with a sharpening focus in Corporate, Commercial, Employment, Real Estate Planning and Major Projects, backed up by a highly skilled Litigation team.

Our Corporate team is increasingly well-regarded for its work in mid-market M&A and in particular its involvement with public company takeovers. We are also a leading adviser to AIM companies and have been ranked in the top 20 AIM advisers in the Hemscott Corporate Advisers Guide (currently number 21). Alongside these public company transactions we are involved in significant private M&A work, private equity, joint ventures and corporate restructuring. In 2006 alone the Corporate team worked on transactions with a total deal value of over £600 million.

International

We play a leading role in Lexwork International, a network of mid-sized independent lawfirms in major cities across Europe and North America. Relationships built up with like-minded lawyers in the network enable us to ensure that our clients can have access to responsive advice from our colleagues in the network when required.

Recognition

And our development has been recognised across the profession. Our Employment and Real Estate teams were both nominated for awards within the last year and the firm itself was shortlisted for Law Firm of the Year at The Lawyer Awards 2006.
