Blom Consultancy, founded in 1992, is specialized in full-scale planning and implementation support of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) programs such as TPM, EFQM, Kaizen, TQM, Six Sigma, JIT and Lean Manufacturing. WCM aims for ‘higher production at less effort’ by continuously reducing losses and creating ownership.

Blom Consultancy is a team of consultants who have already implemented World Class Manufacturing for many companies in all kinds of industries throughout Europe such as Akzo-Nobel, Grolsch, Siemens and Bova. As a Change Agent, in the first phase of the process of becoming World Class, we start mobilizing the power of the organization. Without fueling this process in the beginning, it dies. From Change Agent we gradually become Facilitator. Depending on the occurring losses, we inject knowledge and tools to eliminate those losses.

Blom Consultancy has developed shop floor tools for virtually any loss; tools to help you implement your own solutions. We combine our tools with the techniques already present, to achieve effective loss reduction. We transfer this approach as soon as possible. In this way ‘oil spots’ arise; we implement with people from the shop floor, they experience how it works, and we help them when they start to implement. After a while, when the ‘spirit of WCM’ has permeated the organization, our roll changes from Facilitator to Auditor. From a distance we can point out the details that make out the losses, and we keep you sharp.
