Siwertell road mobile alumina unloader |
Siwertell ship unloaders based on screw-type technology have been delivered since 1974 to customers in more than 55 countries in various parts of the world. They are supplied for a wide range of materials such as alumina, cement, coal, pet coke, grain, agribulk, fertilizers etc. The unloading capacities are 200-2400 t/h for ships of 5,000-200,000 dwt.
Road mobile unloaders designed with the same screw-type technology but smaller in size and with a unique folding feature have been supplied since 1991 for alumina, cement, grain, agribulk, fertilizers etc. Suitable vessel sizes are 5,000-15,000 dwt.
Pneumatic unloaders are delivered for grain and agribulk handling with capacities up to 550 t/h for ships up to 120,000 dwt
Siwertell ship loaders based on screw, aeroslide or belt conveying technologies offer capacities up to 3,000 t/h for ships up to 80,000 dwt. They are suitable for a range of dry bulk materials such as alumina, cement, fertilizers, grain etc.
Nordströms selfunloading/loading systems for dry bulk carriers are delivered as cement handling systems, gravity type and top reclaiming systems for materials like cement, coal, aggregates etc. More than 130 selfunloaders of 3,500-96,000 dwt have been equipped with a Nordströms system for customers worldwide.
Siwertell ship unloaders or loaders are often combined with mechanical or pneumatic conveying systems to suit a bulk terminal project, be it for import, export, or transhipment. Design, delivery and installation of equipment, electrical power distribution, central computer control systems, start-up, commissioning, staff training, and after sales services are parts of the supply. The terminals range from small sizes up to the largest, for example a cement terminal with three 800 t/h unloaders for simultaneous discharge of two 40,000 dwt ships and distribution to six importers, from any ship to any silo.
Quality service combined with long-term support is as essential as quality products. From the first contact through the entire lifetime of an installation, BMH Marine provides the services and products needed to ensure economical and efficient operations. Inspections, training, service agreements, refurbishments, modernizations, facilities management and practical consultancy are parts of the services supplied.
With Nordströms selfunloading systems delivered since 1947, Siwertell ship unloaders since 1974, and with numerous bulk terminals around the world equipped by BMH Marine the company has gained a wealth of experience and know-how in the dry bulk materials handling field.
