Bodø International Airport –Gateway to the Arctic

Bodø Airport may be located north of the Arctic Circle, but as the major hub of North Norwegian communications, we do not feel we are on the outskirts of Europe. Within a radius of a few hundred kilometres you will find major tourist magnets like, amongst others, the Lofoten Islands and the North Cape.

Bodø Airport has the longest runway in this part of the country and is capable of handling all types of civilian aircraft. There are direct links with 15 other domestic airports every day. Furthermore, we can offer 24 hour operations with no gate or slot restrictions, since our passenger terminal was designed and built to handle twice the number of passengers that we have today.

As far as the air freight business is concerned, we still have considerable vacant capacity at the airport.
