ATAN Systems was founded in 1987 aimed to develop a new control and supervision system for Aluminum reduction pot-line in partnership with ALCAN - Brazil. The resulting solution, named SCORE, proved later to be one of the best available for smelters automation and, nowadays, controls about 65% of the Brazilian primary Aluminum production and 3.5% of the world production. After three years of its foundation, ATAN diversified its activities, starting the development of applications for a wide variety of Industrial Automation Solutions. In 1996, the company founded a new department dedicated to Information Technology, emphasizing on MES systems and Logistics. 

The Company's most remarkable feature is its outstanding comprehension of customers' needs and of their industrial processes. The Company has a flexible and agile structure able to offer quick, creative and cost effective solutions in many industrial segments:
