Another development has been the Brunel Enterprise Centre (BEC) which was established to be a one stop shop that exists to actively assist the development of research and consultancy ideas into funded projects, to support the management of projects and then to guide research staff through commercial developments. BEC provides a major opportunity to assist the University to expand its research, consultancy and elated commercial activities such as spin-off companies and technology transfer.
