Who we are
BrunnerInvest AG was founded in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1991 by Erwin Brunner as an independent asset management company catering to private and institutional clients. BrunnerInvest AG is chaired and managed by Erwin Brunner. Between 1962 and 1988 he was employed by the former Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS), his last assignment being Director in charge of asset management. In this function he was responsible for the private and institutional investor departments, portfolio management and investment research. At the same time he was a member of the board of Interfonds AG, the fund management division of Swiss Bank Corporation. From 1989 until the foundation of BrunnerInvest AG in 1991, he was Managing Director of Rothschild Bank AG Zurich. He was also President of the board for several sister companies of Rothschild Bank.

Erwin Brunner and his team have a long and proven track record in asset management. Due to its boutique atmosphere and close client relations, superior service and outstanding products can be guaranteed.

Our approach
BrunnerInvest AG is solely focused on selecting and combining funds based on qualitative and quantitative criteria. Through its excellent industry relations and long-standing experience BrunnerInvest AG is able to select the best-in-class funds all over the world. The selection is done among the top performing funds from the traditional and alternative fund universe. BrunnerInvest AG's unique approach is to switch between strategies and style according to the current market conditions. In doing this, BrunnerInvest AG can achieve a superior income generation in bull markets and capital preservation in bear markets, therefore performing in most market conditions.

What services we offer
First, portfolio-management based on funds and tailored to the client's interest and preferences.
Second, we have our own five funds-of-funds line, the Star MM Funds. This umbrella fund is based in Ireland and regulated and supervised by the Central Bank of Ireland, the Swiss Central Bank and the Federal Banking Commission. Like indicated before, only the best-in-class single fund managers are combined in the four regional funds-of-funds Circle Europe Fund, Ciran Emerging Markets Fund, Circle Asia Pacific Fund and Multi Mondial Fund and our sector fund BIAG Global Science and Tech Fund. In our strict investment approach we use a multi-manager and multi-style strategy in order to deliver superior returns and reduce risk through diversification.
