The Center for Creative Leadership®

Invest in Your Organization’s Future

As a decision maker in your organization, you know how critical it is to hire and develop the right talent. You recognize that investing in human capital is among the most important choices you make. The future of your organization depends upon it.

That’s where we can help.

The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL®) is an internationally recognized resource for understanding and expanding the leadership capabilities of individuals and organizations.

At the Center, we believe leadership development is the cornerstone of organizational effectiveness. Our role is to help address the leadership component of both business and organizational challenges — a strategy our clients say gives them an advantage in today’s fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

For more than 30 years, we have created powerful leadership development programs and services by blending relevant models, research, assessment tools and expertise with techniques that are proven to help adults learn. Our Brussels campus, established in 1990, meets the needs of managers who work internationally, helping them deal effectively with relationships crossing countries and cultures by harnessing the power of diversity.

Our track record demonstrates that our approach is an effective one. In addition to reaching some 20,000 leaders around the world each year, CCL has been repeatedly recognized as a leader in executive education.

Whatever your challenge — be it fostering innovation, merging cultures, working globally, or facing any number of current issues — the Center’s array of services, programs and materials offers you creative, effective leadership solutions.

CCL: Your Leadership Resource

The Center for Creative Leadership interacts with individuals and organizations in many ways. We can create a customized leadership development initiative, bundling together a number of services, offerings and methodologies to meet your needs. Or, you may decide one or two “off-the-shelf” programs or assessment tools would meet your needs.

If you are focused on individual leadership development … for yourself or for others in your organization … turn to our research-based open-enrolment programs and coaching. The Center’s expertise in developing leaders through assessment-rich, feedback-intensive processes has been honed for 30 years. We offer 13 different open-enrolment programs — intensive, highly realistic learning experiences designed to address the particular challenges of a specific audience. High-level executives, experienced managers, and emerging leaders alike are provided an in-depth assessment of strengths and challenges, new insights for working with others, and personal feedback – all in an environment that supports learning and growth. The Center also provides support for developing new leadership behaviours and assists in the implementation of individual development plans through Follow-on Coaching, a service for program alumni, and Executive Coaching, for those who have not attended a program.

If building organizational leadership capability is a major concern, the Center offers creative approaches for addressing leadership needs on a broad scale. Whether your goal is to improve the effectiveness of the executive team, systematically develop your high-potential managers, expand your organization’s ability to work globally, or create a shared leadership language and culture at all levels of the organization, we can help. Our custom initiatives draw on expertise in organizational behaviour, strategic leadership, cross-cultural leadership, creativity and innovation, and other areas that affect the leadership equation. By combining research and practice, the Center tailors its educational offerings with each client to address leadership in the context of current challenges and day-to-day operations.

Through traditional research, we continually refine our understanding of leadership development while exploring new leadership territory — such as global leadership and leadership implications of the networked economy. We also engage in collaborative initiatives with our partners and client organizations that combine program delivery with research (a process we call “co-inquiry”) to better understand and address the complexities of organizational life in the 21st century.
