PRODUCT RANGE.

1. Components for ammunitions

CIME BOCUZE is particularly known all other the world for its tungsten alloy material family DENAL^® used for Kinetic Energy and pre-fragmented ammunition.

Our components have been selected for a wide range of ammunitions such as:

(APFSDS) Armour Piercing Fin-Stabilized Discarding Sabots medium and large calibre for:

25, 30, 40, 76, 90, 105, 120 mm…

Based on a nominal density of 17.5 our material DENAL 2035^® reaches very high tensile and yield strength values - 1600 MPa and above – while keeping a very high level of elongation and Impact test so as to meet performances up to:

• 2500 m/s as velocity
• 35 as length/diameter ratio.
• 100 000 g as acceleration especially for medium calibre.

New generation

The demand for flexibility, transportability, lethality against modern armour leads to an increasing requirement for light Combat vehicles and ammunition performances.

In order to reach the corresponding demand, Cime Bocuze is developing new generation of Denal grade achieving very high characteristics such as:

• UTS – Yield strength of 1850 Mpa and above
• Resilience – 155 J/cm² and above

(PFF) Pre Formed Fragments for Naval and Artillery ammunition:

40, 76, 105, 155 mm…

Missile War head, for fragmentation or penetration solution.

Beside tungsten alloys components, CIME BOCUZE is also a centre of competences for:

• Tungsten carbide Core for (AP) Armour Piercing ammunition – calibres 5.56, 7.62, 12.7 mm.
• Molybdenum and Tantalum Liner.

We are partners of major aerospace manufacturer thanks to our know-how and quality understanding certified by AS/EN 9100. Under the brand names Densimet^® and Inermet^® heavy alloys, Cime Bocuze provides a wide range of components for aerospace application.
