Continuus-Properzi company, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of CCR lines for non-ferrous wire rod production, actually the inventor of such a method, has been providing the industry since 60 years with complete product lines including all elements from furnaces to double wire rod coiler.
Continuous Casting and Rolling System (CCR)

The company’s core business is the Properzi continuous casting and rolling system (CCR) along with its technology for aluminium and copper wire rod.

The latter can be produced using as starting material either copper cathodes or 100% low quality copper scrap and in both cases the obtained quality is first class.

A peculiar Properzi casting machine is especially dedicated to the production of wire for mechanical applications.

With the relative recent addition of a Wire Machinery Division the company provides customers with a wide range of newly designed machines for high carbon steel wires and cables and special stranders for flat copper wires.

The "MegaLogos" high carbon steel drawing machine, characterised by an ergonomic horizontal 1,270 mm. diameter capstan is a further example of the company’s futuristic capability.

Continuus-Properzi dedicates to foundries complete Ingot Casting Lines in continuous operation for production of non-ferrous ingots. End users highly value these lines due to the peculiar characteristics of the final product and high re-melting efficiency.

The recently developed "The new Truck and Belt System" for production of n-f ingots applies a new configuration with respect to the Ingot Casting lines this way offering customers further significant improvements such as foundations depth and no need of straightening device, but maintaining the same proven quality of the ingots.

One of these machines producing 20t/h of 10 Kg Al alloy ingots will be commissioned in Italy in Q2 of 2006.
