CRES Associates is a young consultancy and has come from corporate in-house real estate teams. Therefore we understand the business imperatives. CRES was created from the realisation that few organisations in the EMEA region have either the in-house capability or the headcount to support a corporate real estate role. Our expertise is in the fulfilment of that role by providing the business with key support either through in-house secondment, consultancy, or outsourcing. We can assist in the support of existing teams or provide an EMEA 'virtual' manager.

We have experience in working within organisations cohesively with the individual business units. We have a strong background of over 17 years in the management of corporate real estate portfolios, facility management, capital projects and other non core-related business functions for US corporates within the EMEA region.

We will build/manage your property holdings database and prepare a first-class reporting system in line with the execution of your fiduciary duties. We place particular emphasis on driving cost reductions with a focus on improving operational performance. By doing so we can deliver improvements to the balance sheet through effective facility savings and by creating innovative business solutions for the work place. We work closely within finance organisations to bring improved facility performance ratios and with the operational business units to build collaborative new working environments.

Nigel Mallett is the Managing Director of CRES Associates – Originally an experienced Project Architect managing large capital new build commercial projects. In 1992, he moved into Project Management after studying an MSc in Property Development/Project Management. He joined Novell Inc as head of Capital Projects in 1995 and was ultimately appointed as Head of Real Estate & Facilities in the EMEA region managing a diverse portfolio of in excess of sixty facilities across thirty-five countries. He left in 2002 to form CRES Associates.
