As real estate agents, we specialise in helping people buy and rent property, businesses, land and houses in Crete. This allows us to offer a complete end-to-end service, from initially locating the right property through to handling the transaction.

Fully backed by our membership ethics, our credentials help us offer a professionally run business, within strict codes of practice. This is very important when buying abroad as distance demands that a level of security is maintained; where funds are being transferred and substantial purchases made.

We can organise finance and arrange for loans and mortgages here in Crete. We help our customers organise building contracts and licenses and have extensive builders and masters at hand to help build and restore properties.

At Cretan-homes, we do not leave the customer when the contract has been signed: but offer an all round consultancy, sales, insurance and maintenance package that is tailored to your requirements. This experience allows us to successfully help people and businesses from all over the world.

We are a husband and wife team and have been helping people buy homes in our corner of Crete for several years. We are members of the HELLENIC REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATION which is the only Certified European Institution for property in Greece. As such, we share a common membership code of practice and have partners throughout Crete and Greece. We are the agents responsible for the south eastern corner of Crete and our area extends from Ierapetra, through to Sitia and down to Kato Zakros.

Yiannis Karavitis is from Pefki, Makri Yialos and together with his family they are well known and respected throughout the area. He has run several successful businesses in the region and his father was the local priest in Pefki for many years. Today they are valued members of the community and have the trust and respect of the local people. No other realtor can offer such an intimate working knowledge of the people and properties in the area.

Abbe Waddington-Karavitis is from England has a business degree and worked in the UK. She has now been living and working in Greece for over ten years and is married with two children. Abbe has helped buy property in the UK, Italy, France and Greece and so is familiar with the anxiety of buying property abroad.

When buying, building or considering a property abroad there are many questions about the Greek Legal System and the rights to buy property abroad that need to be answered. Therefore, having both Greek and English speakers at hand gives you reassurance and control of your property purchase.
