Khabarovsk Airport is the gateway to the Russian Far East

Khabarovsk Airport belongs to the Federal Unitary Air Enterprise "Dalavia".

"Dalavia" is the biggest air carrier in the Far East and is among the small number of Russian air enterprises that managed to retain the status of state property.

Khabarovsk Airport is located in the centre of the Far East region, rich with huge natural resources. It attracts many business people from all over the world.

As to its technical capabilities, the Airport Khabarovsk complies with all required world standards and parameters. The airfield has two runways sized as 3500 x 45 meters (mixed pavement) and 4000 x 60 meters (paved with asphalt and concrete), a net of taxiways, apron and parking lots for aircraft.

The airport is capable of serving all kinds of national and foreign-made aircraft 24 hours a day. The total area of the airfield is 566 hectares. The airfield is equipped with electric power generation units; the fuelling is executed with the aid of centralized fuelling system. The pipeline connects the airport to the local refinery. The available fuel containers are capable of providing the necessary amount of fuel estimated for uninterrupted airport functioning for 30 days. This avoids fuelling problems.

Khabarovsk Airport has all facilities to provide passengers with the greatest comfort. The year 1993 was marked with the opening of two newly-built passenger terminals: a domestic terminal with the capacity of 1500 passengers per hour and an international terminal with the capacity of 400 passengers per hour. Modern updated equipment is installed in both terminals, to provide security checks of passengers and baggage.

Khabarovsk Airport is connected by regular flights with 38 Russian and foreign airports. Among them are air routes to Japan, Israel, Republic of Korea, and China. The airlines of China, Republic of Korea, and Korean People's Democratic Republic also operate flights to Khabarovsk Airport.

The airport has a very convenient location: it takes 15 minutes drive to reach it from the centre of the city.

Khabarovsk Airport is the first among Russian airports, where in 2001 the flights of modern Russian-built airplane Tu-214 were launched for both domestic and international air routes.

Enterprise "Dalavia" was awarded with annual national air premium "Wings of Russia 2001" in the nomination "Airline of the year - passenger air carrier on domestic Russian airlines" (first group - the passenger turnover on Russian airlines in 2001 was more than one billion pax/km). The number of passengers, including international passengers, who prefer to buy the services of Khabarovsk enterprise "Dalavia" is increasing every year. The most popular is the flight Khabarovsk - Moscow - Khabarovsk, operated by "Dalavia". The passengers are attracted by comfortable time-schedule, excellent in-flight and on-ground services, on-board personal attention on all types of aircraft, as well as on a modern Tu-214.

Khabarovsk airport is the gateway to the Russian Far East.

From the very first minute of contact with passengers, Dalavia personnel do their best to make the on-board atmosphere for the air travellers pleasant, cordial and hospitable.
