"The modern automotive industry requires systems and components to assure a quiet ride, exceptional vehicle braking capabilities and superior sealing systems,” explains Jay Pittas, Wolverine Division president. “Our mission is to develop leading-edge materials and products to meet the sealing and sound damping needs of the industry today, while anticipating the industry’s needs of tomorrow."
Established in 1934 in Inkster, Mich., USA, Wolverine played a vital role in development of rubber coated gaskets. Today the company conducts extensive product and material research on virtually any substrate, including cold-rolled steel, aluminum, stainless steel, vulcanized fiber and paper.
