Established in 1996, FinTuition is an international training company based in London specialising in the securities finance business: securities lending, equity finance, hedge funds, prime brokerage, repo and collateral management.  We offer a regular schedule of open-enrolment courses from introductory to advanced levels as well as on-site training.

We rely heavily on exercises, role plays and case studies to promote understanding of securities financing and trading concepts through contextually reinforced learning.  We take a modular approach to training, selecting in consultation with the client the most relevant aspects of the business and tailoring courses to suit their needs.  A range of in-house and open course programs is available from introductory to advanced level.

We offer support to delegates both before and after each course by means of a private web site available only to delegates where they can:

• see who is attending the course
• see biographies and photographs of the course speakers
• post any special objectives so that instructors can address them
• download pre-course reading (and exercises) to remedy any shortfalls in preparation

For four weeks following the course, delegates can:

• ask further questions of the course director and guest speakers
• communicate with each other
• download additional reading, notes and articles relevant to the course

Our classes are limited to a maximum of 15, to create more of a teacher and student environment.  With one or two market practitioners teaching and taking supervision of the course and not a line up of speakers, delegates can develop a relationship with the teacher and ask individual questions and receive immediate clarification and attention.
