The company´s history starts in 1880 through founding a small shop for handcraft articles by Willibald GRAMMER. Today GRAMMER consists of 3 divisions driver seats (e.g. truck, van, bus tractor, fork-lift-truck), passenger seats (bus & train seats, ICE) and automotive interior. GRAMMER also distributes chairs as well as solar techniques.

The automotive interior division has worldwide 19 production plants. We count under our customers e.g. VW, Audi, DaimlerChrysler, BMW, Seat, Skoda, Lancia, Opel as well as JCI, Lear and Faurecia. As the smallest systemsupplier in the world we develop and supply armrests, headrests, side bolsters, bolsters with airbag, integrated childseats as well as precious leather parts and seat covers for the automotive industry and its seatsuppliers.
