Granco Clark
Granco Clark, one of the world’s leading suppliers of aluminum extrusion
equipment, makes everything you need to heat, cool, pull, stretch, handle, cut,
stack, and age aluminum extrusions. We customize our equipment to the specific
requirements of your operation to deliver exceptional efficiency, productivity,
and longevity.
Our integrated, automated extrusion systems have increased performance and profitability and reduced labor costs and scrap for companies around the world. Granco Clark has engineered and manufactured handling systems for extrusion lines ranging from small presses running lightweight extrusions to a 16,200-ton press producing extrusions up to 100 pounds per foot.
In 1954, we introduced the first direct-flame impingement furnace to the industry. Though our design has evolved considerably, a Granco Clark furnace is still the fastest, most efficient way to heat billets.
We’ve followed up that first key innovation with many others, including: the
first computer-controlled system to synchronize the entire extrusion process;
our triple-patented Taper Quench, an economical way to achieve isothermal
extrusion; a new highly-efficient Hot Saw to provide
accurately-sized billets to
the press with minimal scrap; and our newest innovation—the FLEX2® Combination
Quench. It’s a “second generation” technology designed to be the most efficient
combination quench in the industry, eliminating the compromises required by
earlier models.
Our line of proven aluminum extrusion equipment includes the Hot-Jet Furnace, Quick-Cycle Log Shear, Demand Billet Saw, Billet Taper Quench, Die Ovens, Quenching and Cooling Systems, Pullers, Profile Handling Systems, CVC Stretcher, Extrusion Cutoff Saw, Profile Stacking Systems, Age Ovens, Precision Finish Saw, and SCSExtrude Software System.
Granco Clark guarantees the quality of all our equipment with a comprehensive one-year warranty. Our commitment to quality is further demonstrated by our ISO-9001 certification, an internationally recognized standard for quality.
Granco Clark’s commitment to assuring maximum equipment performance doesn’t end with the sale. We back up our commitment to quality with service over the entire lifecycle of your equipment.
If equipment goes down, Granco Clark’s modem support program can get your system back up-and-running fast. An integrated modem is standard on all of our extrusion systems. This allows a Granco Clark engineer to dial into the equipment operating system, diagnose most problems, and walk you through the repair process.
No site visit is required for diagnosis, so downtime is kept to a minimum.
Our modem diagnostics service is free during standard business hours, with
additional assistance available 24/7.
When you need replacement parts, you can order them any day of the week, at any time, using Granco Clark’s 24-hour parts hotline or by e-mailing us at spareparts@grancoclark.com. Over 80% of replacement parts are available for delivery the next day or sooner. Our parts specialists will key your order into an inventory computer system, answer questions about parts availability and shipping times—and ship your part immediately if available.
That continuing support translates into peace of mind for our customers. You can rest assured that your Granco Clark equipment is delivering the highest possible performance and productivity—and the best overall return on your investment.
