Hellas Jet History
Hellas Jet is an airline created by building upon the values that
distinguish successful modern European airlines. Its essence uniquely
combines the consistency and the reliability of an international airline
with the main attributes of its Greek identity: warmth, friendliness and
hospitality.
The company, which is based at Athens International Airport "Eleftherios
Venizelos", started operations in June 2003, and by March 2004, it was
serving four (4) destinations: Brussels, London-Heathrow, Paris and
Manchester.
The company’s fleet consists of three (3) Airbus A320 powered with IAE
V2527-A5 engines. All aircraft have a two cabin configuration, sitting 16
passengers in Business Class and 132 passengers in Economy Class. The
company carried 420,000 passengers up until December 2004.
Hellas Jet’s Central Town Office is located at: 91 Michalakopoulou Str.,
115 28, Athens. The company has offices at Athens International Airport "Eleftherios
Venizelos", where it also maintains a Ticket Desk, supporting ticketing
activities.

In addition the company, in an effort to support and improve the
frequency and coverage of flights offered to its passengers, has managed to
extent its network through co operations with other airlines as follows
- Through Fares Agreement with British Midland in connecting Athens
with Edinburgh & Glasgow via London-Heathrow
- Through Fares Agreement with SN Brussels in connecting Athens with
Gothenburg, Birmingham, Newcastle & Oslo via Brussels
- Through Fares Agreement with Olympic Airlines in connecting Athens
with 11 Greek airports
- Through Fares Agreement with Aegean Airlines in connecting Athens
with 13 Greek airports
- Through Fares Agreement with Cyprus Airways in connecting Athens
with Larnaca & Paphos Airports
Hellas Jet Future
The addition of new - short and medium haul- destinations is in the
company’s future plans. At the same time the company aims at maintaining its
mission to provide: "high quality services to all its passengers at all
times", supporting the company signature that is: "Your desires take off!".
We are confident that the successful organization of the 2004 Olympic
Games, which saw Athens being transformed in to a modern European capital,
will help Hellas Jet increase its customer base and fully establish itself
as a key player for travelling to / from Greece.
