International Mortgage Solutions Ltd was set up by Directors Heather Chambers and Graham Tennant to fill a gap in the mortgage market through providing advice and placement of Spanish mortgages replicating the FSA regulations that currently apply in the UK.
The IMS Directors gained their experience of the mortgage market as Executives of major Banks and Building Societies in the UK and have used this experience to deliver professional, unbiased and personal advice to non-residents and residents of Spain.
IMS helps clients ascertain the most cost effective route for raising funds to purchase in Spain and all initial advice and guidance is provided free of charge. Recommendations fully outlining product and costs are provided in writing before any transaction takes place so clients can make informed decisions.
IMS are a UK limited company and have offices in Spain and the UK. An experienced team in Spain deals with all Spanish lending. This team will look after the clients needs throughout the purchase process and liaise with all relevant parties on their behalf wherever required. Being based in Spain ensures they have immediate access to the bank, the lawyer and the selling agent and all members of the team are used to and pride themselves on their ability to help the client with any issues that may arise including those relating to aspects outside the financing.
IMS have access to all products and providers and are able to help clients through understanding the idiosyncrasies of the Spanish mortgage and purchase market to ensure deposit monies are not put at risk and that the best possible product is sourced from a bank that the client can communicate with effectively after completion.
Over the years IMS has gained an excellent reputation and the business grows from strength to strength. IMS are used by a number of selling agents to provide independent advice to their clients including one of the largest and longest established estate agents in Spain. IMS will always puts the client's welfare first and understands how stressful it can be to buy and organise finance for a purchase in a country of which they are not resident.
