Our Private Banking services
We
offer clients the attention of their own personal adviser who builds a relationship
of trust with his or her client and makes a particular effort fully to understand
the client’s financial wishes and requirements. Our advisers are therefore able
to offer clients the best possible service and to prepare customised investment
solutions.
Our range of products comprises a comprehensive list of investment products from all over the world, including securities, equity and bond funds, structured products, current and fixed term multi-currency accounts.
Two of our truly unique products are the No. 1 Account and the Invest Loan. The No. 1 Account resembles a traditional current account and is available in more than 20 different currencies. The rate of interest is adjusted once a month to reflect current market rates. The Invest Loan uses a geared/leveraged loan to add to your initial investment. The loan is granted in a low-interest currency and the total amount is then invested in high-interest securities or assets. This offers the opportunity of an above-average return on your investment.
The Jyske Bank Group
Jyske Bank A/S, the second-largest Danish bank, was founded in 1967 as a result
of the merger between a number of local banks dating back to the mid-1800s. In the
course of the following years, another six banks were incorporated and a number
of subsidiary banks were established. Total assets amount to DKK 6.8bn (EUR 0.92bn),
the number of shareholders exceeds 205,000 and Jyske Bank is one of 20 Danish blue-chip
companies included in the official Danish stock exchange index, the KFX. The bank
has been awarded a high rating by both Moody’s Investors Service (A1/P1) and Fitch
IBCA (A+/F1) – quite rare for a bank the size of Jyske Bank.
The Jyske Bank organisation is deliberately flat. All departments operate independently within known strategies and business goals, and the delegation of responsibility is a fundamental principle. The Bank employs value-based management and a considerable number of specific rules and regulations have been replaced by value-based guidelines.
The top executive is no ordinary banker
Anders Dam, CEO, is known as a controversial bank executive and for his relentless
fight for Jyske Bank’s independence. In a world where bank mergers have become the
order of the day, he makes a particular point of stressing that someone has yet
to prove that economies of scale can be achieved in the banking sector. To some
investors and speculators he is a tiresome, rebellious and misguided bank executive
because he pays too much attention to the interest of the bank’s stakeholders rather
than generating shareholder value!
The values of the Jyske Bank Group
According to Jyske Bank’s core values, however, shareholders, employees and customers
must be treated with equal respect. This is illustrated by three equally big overlapping
circles. If the balance tips in favour of one or two of the groups, it will be to
the long-term detriment of all three groups.
The long-term ambition is to build a different bank, where people like to work, where customers are satisfied and where shareholders achieve a satisfactory long-term profit on their investment. And the aim is for Jyske Bank to be one of the best in the sector in Denmark – year after year. Thus, Jyske Bank is an excellent choice for shareholders looking for a long-term investment and who do not pay particular attention to decisions, which have an only short-term positive effect on the price.
