Highlights are the inductively programmable Artillery Fuzes MOFA DM74 and ET DM 52A1 and DM52A2.
The DM74 was developed for the German SP Tank Howitzer PzH 2000 and meets all parameters and functions of the "155 mm Joint Ballistics MoU" between the USA, U.K., France, Italy and Germany as well as all NAT0-STANAG's on specific fuze characteristics. The DM74 belongs to the latest generation of electronic multi option fuzes which accomplishes the idea of digitization down to the ammunition level of a weapon system.
A new member has recently joined the JUNGHANS fuze family: the Optronic Proximity Mortar Fuze PX 581. The PX 581 is superior to today's introduced conventional HF fuzes concerning jamming and precision height of burst. It utilises advanced laser based distance measurement technology for target recognition. The intelligent decision-making logic recognises the target and detonates the shell at the desired altitude and moment.
