Keele is one of the UK's leading campus Universities. It was founded in 1949 as a University college and was granted full University status by Royal Charter in 1962. It is located within 617 acres of beautiful Staffordshire parklands and at the centre of the campus is a stately home, Keele Hall (the ancestral home of the Sneyd family). Outside this central area is a variety of accommodation for staff and students ringed by a large area of landscaped lakes and woodlands. Keele has a major commitment to innovation and excellence in graduate education and is at the forefront of interdisciplinary research and learning.
The Keele MBA provides an intensive and intellectually challenging advance study of management combining practical and theoretical elements. Course modules are taught within a strategic and international framework and the course is underpinned by the teaching staffs strong research orientation. In the last UK Research Assessment Exercise the Management School at Keele received a 4A rating justifiably placing the Department within the premier group of Business Schools in the UK. The research focuses on two main areas: empirical and pragmatic studies of strategy, operations, marketing and finance, complemented by a world wide reputation for organization theory and the study of human and social issues in management. The Keele MBA reflects these orientations.
The Keele MBA has attracted students from over thirty different countries; interaction with people from different cultures, religions, political systems and business environments is considered an important part of the MBA learning experience. There is also a higher proportion of female students on the Keele MBA than is usual.

The core modules provide a comprehensive foundation in management principles and give an insight into the theory, practice and techniques in the main management disciplines. In addition there is a research methods module which assists in the preparation for research and the written dissertation.
