Nordic Shelter in brief

Nordic Shelter AS was established in 2007 and has rapidly become a major supplier of specialized containers in our home market (Scandinavia). Nordic Shelter is organized in two divisions; Military applications and Logistical Solutions. Our Customers are typically Armed Forces, NGOs and logistic companies.

Products of particular interest to military and NGOs are:

• Rapid deployable medical shelters, ranging from small clinics to entire mobile hospitals
• Special containers for storage, transport and processing of ammunition, and explosives
• Containerised workshops (mechanical as well as for electronic or weapons)
• Warehouse containers for spare parts etc
• Mobile kitchens and food storage containers (refrigerated)
• Mobile remains collection and storage systems
• Mobile forensic facilities
• Communications, command & control facilities
• Tank containers for;
  • Water storage and distribution (water racks)
  • Fuel transport and storage
  • Mobile fuel stations
• Containerised waste water treatment
• Mobile water purification and/or desalination

Manufacturing and sales are carried out via our own organisation in the home market and partners in more than 10 other countries. Nordic Shelter net sales will exceed NOK 70 million in 2008. Nordic Shelter is a privately owned company. The owners and employees have decades of experience in design, manufacturing and sales of “turn-key” solutions for the military and logistical markets.

Another key area of focus is proximity to our clients. Nordic Shelter production sites are never located more than a couple of hours away from our clients. We have learned that development and production of solutions that will work in the field requires close and frequent interaction with the client and preferably the users of the system(s).
