MIG21®, PFS’ award-winning investment compliance and risk monitoring solution, optimizes and automates pre-trade and post-trade compliance checking, the administration of regulatory, prospectus, and internal investment guidelines along with the consequent resolution workflows.

MIG21 is designed to address the following investment management technology needs:
MIG21’s innate flexibility means it is useful for a variety of buy-side organisations regardless of size (1000+ funds or fewer than 10 funds), or whether they need to connect MIG21 to multiple simultaneous data feeds or to a single asset master. MIG21 can be customised to meet any needs whether they are those of a French custodian, a Singaporean Fund Administrator or a UK Hedge Fund. PFS’ LawCard® service means clients with multiple locations can easily stay up-to-date with legal developments.

MIG21 is an acronym for Managing Investment Guidelines in the 21st Century. MIG21 is based on the latest technologies. It is written in C# .NET and uses an Oracle database. Its n-tier architecture is highly scalable. As MIG21 was designed as a standalone system, its interfaces are very advanced and come pre-packaged with a Visual Mapping Studio. MIG21 has standard interfaces to many data providers (e.g. Bloomberg, WM) and accounting engines (e.g. GP3, V3, Multifonds, Beauchamp).

MIG21 is powered by PFS’ market-proven LawCards®. LawCards are comprehensive predefined rule sets for checking regulatory investment restrictions with MIG21. They keep you up to date with compliance developments around the globe so your funds can be launched in new jurisdictions quickly.
The LawCard service offers our clients the content expertise of all major jurisdictions including the SEC Investment Company Act Of 1940 and UCITS III:

PFS’ LawCards are maintained centrally by a full time team at PFS and when changes take place (e.g. new EU directives or regulators’ guidance notes) these are updated and pushed out to our clients.
PFS offers an online portal to all its LawCard clients and maintains a newsfeed of all rule changes. Accompanied by our LawCard Compliance newsfeed it provides expert guidance in creating and maintaining a compliance framework which meets all regulatory requirements.
