PilloPak was founded in Eerbeek (the Netherlands) in 1954 and is the specialist in the production of packaging concepts made from light-weight corrugated paper. In 2001 PilloPak became a subsidiary of the Palm Group (www.Palm-Gruppe.de), a substantial family-owned German paper manufacturer. The group produces 1.370.000 tons of paper for newsprint and corrugated board and converts the paper into 800 million m² of light- and heavy-weight corrugated board. Consistent quality and performance are guaranteed by a well defined Quality Management System, certified according to the latest ISO 9001 and 14001 standards. A labour force of over 100 people guarantees an optimal solution to your individual packaging needs.

PilloPak has modern corrugating and converting machine facilities at its disposal. Seven corrugators produce well over 100 million m² of light-weight single-faced and double-faced board in reels and sheets between 90 and 400+ gr/m² in A, B, E, SE, F and N-Flute, up to a maximum width of 2.45 meters. The converting machines produce sheets, die-cuts, sleeves and erected trays. All our products are printable to a maximum of 6 colours.

With a broad palette of products, PilloPak serves the needs of a variety of market sectors:

• The food-market is served with packaging for the bakery and horticulture sectors, protecting for example biscuits, crackers, sweets and for horticulture apples, pears and chicory, during transport and storage. Specialty products include Bake & Take^® and Snackwell^®.
• For protecting goods in transit, PilloPak provides solutions for fragile goods like China glass and lighting as well as heavy goods such as furniture and kitchens. Bulk transport of potatoes is for example protected against frost and furnishings from damage during removals.
• Speciality products are interiors for cosmetics, Softwell^® and N- and F-flute double faced sheets for displays and offset printing. Double-single faced combinations in N/SE for superior strength and unique presentation.

The continuous focus on innovation leads to a constant flow of product improvements and totally new packaging concepts. Over the last years PilloPak has developed a range of 100% recyclable multi-functional erected trays for the food industry: Bake & Take^® and SnackWell^®.

Bake & Take^® is a product line with excellent release properties and can be used baking-off your cakes and pizza’s throughout the chain until POP. The superb pre or post print possibilities (high temperature resistance and food approval) give an excellent opportunity to communicate with the customer base.

SnackWell^® is a modern packaging concept for the snack segment, to present fresh sandwiches or heat hamburgers, pizzas and French fries. And soon a convenience product line is to be launched with a laminated metalized film to obtain crispy croque-monsieurs and other snacks from the microwave.

High gloss products can be packed with the recently developed SoftWell^®, a shock absorbing protection with a scratch-free surface. So high gloss furniture, kitchen, doors, glass and automobile parts are well protected in Softwell^®. Fibre reinforced Softwell^® meets the need for high puncture resistance.

Another new development is PilloPak N- and F-flute double faced sheets, which combines light weight and high stiffness. The sheets can directly be used for runs in offset printing and for the production of displays, whereas the extra lamination step becomes unnecessary. With its lower weight it can be good alternative to carton board.
