RESORT DESCRIPTION: Prospect Reef is a complete resort village on a 44-acre oceanfront estate. The resort boasts 137 rooms and suites, a sea pool, a junior Olympic-sized freshwater pool and a marina. In addition, the resort owns two beaches one on Peter Island and the other on Jost van Dyke Island. The culinary delights of the resort can be sampled at the two on-property restaurants or at Callaloo at the Beach restaurant on Peter Island.

ACCOMMODATIONS: This Caribbean style village offers ocean view rooms with spectacular sunsets or peaceful garden scenes complete with the resort's own lagoon. The 137 rooms and suites are divided into eight categories. Each is equipped with cable TV, clock radio, direct-dial telephone with voice mail, personal safe, coffee maker, mini-bar, and iron and ironing board.

• Garden Room (305 sq ft) - Standard room with Queen bed or twin beds on the ground level, air-conditioned, bathroom with tub and shower, with outdoor patio overlooking the garden.
• Reef Room (325 sq. Ft.) - Standard room with one King or two Queen or twin-bedded rooms on the second floor with winding exterior staircase, ceiling fan, bath with tub and shower, private balcony with panoramic view of the ocean and adjacent islands.
• Reef Studio (459 sf) - Studio Suite on the ground level with king or queen or two queen beds, bath with shower, dining table, ceiling fan, air conditioning, private patio with panoramic view of the ocean and islands. Basic handicap accessibility.
• Harbour Studio (614sf) - Duplex studio with living-dining area, kitchenette with small refrigerator, bath with tub and shower on the ground level, loft with a queen bed, ceiling fan, private balcony with marina or ocean view. These rooms are also available as a two-bedroom unit with two twin beds on the ground floor.
• Suite (675sf) - Deluxe air-conditioned king-bedded room, with a full living/dining room with sofa bed on the second floor. Bath with large shower, large private balcony with panoramic views of the ocean and islands.
• Admiral's Studio (614 sf) - Duplex studio with living/dining area and bath with shower on ground level. Loft with queen bed, ceiling fan, air conditioning, private patio, with panoramic view of ocean and islands. Also available as a two bedroom unit with two queen or twin beds on ground level and a queen bed in the loft.
• Town House Suite (710 sf) - Duplex one bedroom suite with air conditioned bedroom (king or two-twin bedded room) and bath with tub and shower on ground level, winding interior staircase to full living room with ceiling fan and private balcony on second floor. Panoramic view of the ocean and islands.
• Villa (1,192sf) - Duplex two-bedroom apartment home. Large living/ dining room with sofa bed, ceiling fan, spacious private patio, full kitchen and interior dining courtyard, bath with tub and shower and air conditioned queen bedroom with sliding doors to a small garden seating area on the ground level. Separate air conditioned king bedroom with bath with tub and shower on second floor. Panoramic view of ocean and islands.

DINING: The resort has two restaurants on property and another on Peter Island. Room service is available from 8:00am to 10:00pm daily.

• Callaloo at The Reef Restaurant - One of Tortola's best restaurant, this fine dining establishment overlooks Prospect Reef Resort's harbor and marina. Combining casual elegance and island charm, the restaurant offers Contemporary Caribbean Cuisine. Open year-round for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7:00am.
• Scuttlebutt Pub - serves snacks and lighter fare for lunch and dinner, plus cocktails. Open until 1:00am.
• Callaloo at the Beach - Located on Buttonwood Bay on Peter Island, ten minutes away from the resort by boat. This sister restaurant to Prospect Reef Resort's Callaloo at The Reef Restaurant serves contemporary Caribbean cuisine. Reservations recommended.

KIDS PROGRAMS: Prospect Reef's PALS program offers a variety of environmental adventures for children 6-12 years old. Activities are tailored to each group and include fish identifying expeditions in the resort's sea-pools, kayaking in the mangroves, lizard and bird spotting and music, craft and culture of the islands.

MEETING FACILITIES: Prospect Reef Resort offers the Reef House, a self-contained 5,000 square foot facility with a large meeting room and four smaller "breakout rooms". The Reef House overlooks the sea, has a large veranda and an interior courtyard. A dedicated Meetings and Special Events coordinator caters to every need.

BUSINESS CENTER: A fully equipped business center is available for hotel guests' use. The center will have has both IBM and MAC computers. Secretarial services are also available. (Center will open in late Summer 2000)

WEDDINGS: Weddings are tailored to each couples' needs, from selecting the on-property location, the reception menu, to the photography, etc. A $500 base Wedding package fee includes consultation with the wedding consultant, British Virgin Island marriage license and fees, floral bouquet for the bride, boutonniere for the groom, chilled champagne and a wedding cake.

HONEYMOONS: Honeymooning at Prospect Reef Resort is an ideal vacation for couples. The resort offers a honeymoon package which includes luxurious one-bedroom suite accommodations, executive car transfer to and from the airport on-island, VIP check-in, romantic candlelight dinner at Callaloo at the Beach on Peter Island, His & Her Spa treatments (one each), Sailing charter with lunch, and a beach day at Prospect Reef Resort's Beach Club on Jost van Dyke with lunch.
