Fee for Service with clearly defined deliverables

Proteros offers its services on a pure fee for service, project by project basis. All projects are structured with clear timelines for each deliverable, which in turn are defined by unambiguous criteria.

Offerings

• Gene-to-Structure Projects:
  Proteros offers full cloning-to-structure projects, including the design of appropriate constructs, expression and purification through to crystallography within 3 to 6 months.
• Gallery Structure Projects:
  Analysis of complex structures with customer's compounds within typically 4 to 8 weeks using the largest commercially available collection of crystallizable proteins for immediate analysis of 3-dimensional complexes with clients’ drug development compounds.
• Custom Protein Projects:
  Proteros offers its protein production capabilities to researchers requiring high quality proteins, particularly for primary and secondary screening. Based on customer requirements Proteros designs a production process and delivers a test sample prior to producing the requested amount of protein.

Risk-Sharing

Proteros shares risk with its customers by offering success related business terms for all offerings. Success criteria could be quality as well as timelines.

Responsibility for cost-neutral adjustment of resources to achieve success is completely with Proteros.

Economy of Scale

Proteros generates economies of scale where possible and offers according business terms to its customers. Examples are Gallery Structure projects with numerous structures to be analyzed; parallel work on numerous Gallery Structure or Gene-to-Structure projects or a committed order volume.

Technology Transfer

Proteros offers to enable its customers by transferring the required technology to its laboratories where feasible and offer training of customer’s scientist either at Proteros’ labs or on site at the client.
