Revision has become a major eyewear provider for customers in many countries. The Sawfly Eyewear System and the Desert Locust^® Goggle are both on the U.S. Army Authorized Protective Eyewear List (APEL). Revision’s products are used by many units from Infantry to Airborne to Special Forces. As of February 2008, the U.S. Army procured over 280,000 Sawfly sets to supply all new recruits with Revision’s protective eyewear. The Army also procured more than 100,000 Desert Locust Goggles for the Rapid Fielding Initiative.

Revision developed the first optically correct ballistic visor for the Canadian DND who has purchased 15,000 visor systems for troops in Afghanistan. Non-distorting and fully compatible with in-service helmets, when these visors are worn over the Sawfly System the level of eye protection provided is closer to the protection levels soldiers receive from their body armour and helmet.

Today, not only is Revision eyewear worn by U.S. and Canadian troops deployed in hostile environments including Iraq and Afghanistan, but also international armed forces from Belgium, the Netherlands, Kuwait, Brunei, Austria and several other countries.

Beyond expanding the product line of excellent “commercial-off-the-shelf” spectacles and goggles, Revision is passionate about research that will bring newer technologies and materials to the ballistic protective market. Revision continues to invest in pure Research and Development projects with the goal of continually being on the cutting edge of eye and head protective equipment technology.  The Company is currently involved with several initiatives and will continue to both seek out and be receptive to, ideas that can generate distinct improvements in ocular protection.

The Sawfly Eyewear System, available in two sizes maximizes fit, function and comfort. It provides an interchangeable, one-piece, hard-coated lens that locks into a slim frame with adjustable arms.. The Sawfly System exceeds the rigorous optical and ballistic testing standards in use today.

The lightweight Desert Locust Goggle combines ballistic protection with perfect facial and helmet fit, comfort and well sealed eye protection. The Desert Locust interchangeable lenses are coated with Revision’s “OCUMAX™” – a, high-performance, anti-fog and anti-static hardcoat. The goggle provides the broadest field-of-view and unprecedented visual clarity.

The Revision Bullet Ant Tactical Goggle provides high-impact protection, optimal fit, a wide field-of-view, plus helmet and night-vision equipment compatibility.

All eyewear features interchangeable lenses that provide 100% UV protection and non-distorted visual clarity. An Rx Carrier that can be filled with corrective lenses has been designed to fit all three eye protective products.
