Finance at Erasmus

The Masters in Financial Management (MFM) Program prepares young professionals for international finance careers. Taking a decision-oriented approach, the comprehensive curriculum design ensures that theoretical insights are grounded in practical application. Courses focus on three main streams: financial markets, corporate finance and financial services. A one-week study tour at an international financial center and an internship/thesis conclude the program. The MFM Program starts in September each year. During the 12-month study, students develop international orientation, solid financial knowledge and personal management skills.

The Masters in Financial Management Program is delivered by RSM in cooperation with the Erasmus Center for Financial Training (ECFT) and the Rotterdam Institute of Financial Management (RIFM). ECFT has a long and productive tradition of focusing on both theoretical and decision-oriented research. The research output is regarded by external examiners as outstanding and of the highest practical relevance. RIFM is a rapidly growing group of active researchers in many areas related to Finance and Accounting. The research projects at RIFM can be broadly divided into three areas: Financial Markets, Financial Management and Accounting.
