Equity investment process

• The greatest inefficiencies can generate the best opportunities and are found at the individual stock level. This is where our in-house research can give an information advantage
• We look primarily for the ability to generate sustainable earnings growth. Regular access and meetings with company managers ensures we thoroughly understand their markets and strategies
• Markets can take time to recognise the fair value of a security - consequently we are long-term investors.

We are bottom-up stock pickers. As a result, our long-term commitment to our own in-house research plays a critical role in creating value for our clients.

Fixed income investment process

• Our globally-integrated fixed income team use a shared process, researching ideas in local markets to provide performance advantage
• We are disciplined and research-driven. Our research focuses on sectors and individual securities in order to develop bottom-up ideas
• We aim to create value from duration, yield curve, sector allocation and security selection.
