Under the umbrella of the combined sales unit "Siemens Airports", Siemens
AG offers a comprehensive portfolio of products, systems and services for the
target groups in the international airport market.
Siemens Airports includes the following units:
- the Industrial Projects and Technical Services Group (I&S), providing
solutions for aviation ground lighting, aircraft handling, technical services
for operations and maintenance services for the entire life cycle of the airport,
as well as solutions for road traffic management systems,
- Synavion, a joint venture between the Siemens Business Services Group
(SBS), and Lufthansa, offering complete systems and solutions for information
technology in airports,
- the Siemens Building Technologies Group (SBT), with products, systems
and solutions for terminal building management systems,
- the Siemens Production and Logistics Systems Group (PL), offering systems
and comprehensive solutions for baggage handling and cargo logistics,
- the Power Transmission and Distribution Group (PTD), providing comprehensive
power supply solutions, as well as energy management,
- and other Siemens units such as Information and Communications (I&C),
Siemens Financial Services (SFS) and Siemens Project Ventures (SPV), in order
to cover the financial side of operations as well.
