Airport Build & Supply is the region’s leading showcase for airport equipment, technology and services from around the world. Launched as a ‘Build & Supply’ forum for the selection & pre-qualification of suppliers and contractors for airport development programmes across the Middle East, the event has developed into the region’s premier airport exhibition catering for the building, supplying and operation of airports across Africa, Middle East and Indian Sub-continent.

Airport Build & Supply is organised under the patronage of the Department of Civil Aviation Dubai and is supported by regional Civil Aviation Authorities and international airport supplier associations. As a dedicated commercial forum for buyers, vendors, consultants and systems integrators from all sectors of airports, airlines and ground service companies, the event allows suppliers to meet with regional civil aviation departments, their consultants and the contractors working on regional airport expansions.

The event comprises five key components:

• An Exhibition
• Pre-Scheduled Meeting (PSM) Programme
• Hosted Buyer Programme
• Floor Workshops and
• A Seminar Programme

The show is divided into four main categories:

• Airport Construction: Planning, Design, Construction, Building Materials, Interiors
• Airport Services: Baggage Handling, Cargo Handling & Passenger Handling
• Airport Technology: IT, Technical Installations, Security, Lighting & Technical Systems
• Airport Operations: Management, Maintenance, Ground Support & Handling

Now in its 6th successful year, the last event in May 2005 saw record numbers of 322 exhibitors from 31 countries and almost 3,000 professional visitors during the three days. Over 400 exhibitors and 4,000 visitors are expected to attend in 2006.
