Trina Solar is currently one of the few PV manufactures who has developed a vertically integrated business model from the production of ingots, wafers and cells to the assembly of high quality modules. Trina Solar is planning to grow its installed capacity from 150 MW by the end of 2007 to 300MW by the end of 2008.

Trina Solar received the investment from important companies such as Milestone Capital, Good Energies and Merrill Lynch, which was the starting point of the company’s internationalization. This involved a significant injection of financial resources which were vital to ensure brand expansion. However, it was the listing in the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in December 2006 and the later capital increase in June 2007 which allowed Trina Solar to reach such an important capitalisation level to be able to expand and guarantee an exponential increase of the production capacity and assure raw material.

At the same time, the listing in the NYSE allowed Trina Solar to count with an international team of 26 different nationalities with a deep experience in the PV sector, who contribute each day to the success of the company.

In this path towards internationalisation, we currently have offices in Barcelona, Munich, Shanghai and San Francisco, as well as a team of local sales managers in every key country in Europe to provide our customers with close service. Apart from this, Trina Solar also offers an after sale Technical Service Support for Europe.
