Viasat is a sales-driven entertainment company. We are a content-provider and while entertainment is our product, selling entertainment is what we do. We are a regional European player, focused on northern Europe. Having two revenue sources within the same group, advertising and subscriber revenues, gives us a unique competitive advantage.

Within the Viasat Group you find TV3, TV1000, Cinema, 3+, ZTV, TV8, TV6 Nature World and TV6 Action World as part of the common platform. But we’re also distributor for other well known TV-channels; Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, Hallmark, The History Channel, Travel Channel, CNN, BBC Prime, Discovery Channel, TCM, Sky News, National Geographic Channel, Cartoon Network, TCC and Playboy TV.

Our market is Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We have our HQ in London from where we transmit almost all our channels. Viasat is a player on all technical platforms and we are by far the largest provider of TV-channels in Scandinavia. We are more than 600 employees

Viasat reaches over 16 million people everyday – mostly through our key-channel TV3. We have almost 2 million subscribers for our pay-tv-channels. We have been operating for more than 10 years.

A lot of our work is centralized at HQ in London – but sales is local and handled by our offices in all the countries we represent.

We believe that the future lies in a strong platform. It has shifted away from single, competing TV-channels. The strength of Viasat lies in a strong platform that covers the entire entertainment spectrum, simplifying viewers´ choices in an otherwise bewildering market.
