The University of Westminster has been offering advanced management programmes
since 1924 and the general MBA programme has been accredited by the Association
of MBAs for over 30 years.
Today the Westminster Business School is distinctively committed to progressive
management education, providing accredited and flexible programmes in an international
context for over 3500 full and part-time students. It is conveniently situated on
the University's Marylebone Campus in central London, opposite Madame Tussaud's
and Baker Street tube station. The Campus buildings have recently been substantially
refurbished and extended, providing a high-quality learning environment suited for
business education in the 21st century.
Co-located with the School of the Built Environment, Westminster Business School
focuses on the core applications of business disciplines in capital city functions
and major industries encompassing human resources, finance, marketing, information
technology and reaching into tourism, retailing and urban development.
Our consultancy experts are widely respected and we have particular research
strengths in finance and financial services, small businesses, franchising, the
future of work, labour market analysis, the economics of education and training,
retailing and services marketing. We have many links with partner institutions in
the EU, USA, Eastern Europe and Asia. Short courses, post-experience and updating
courses are available and can be specially designed to meet the training needs of
industry and other organisations.
Aside from our prestigious Masters programmes in International Finance and Quantitative
Finance, the School offers an AMBA-accredited MBA and a range of MA, MSc and Postgraduate
Diploma courses. Many programmes are available for full or part-time study, as are
the range of undergraduate courses.
The University also has a business school in Harrow, north-west London, offering
its own distinctive range of management programmes.
