Founded in Germany in 1996, we are now already producing electricity from hydropower plants and wind parks in six EU states, as well as in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Georgia. Furthermore, we have broadened the spectrum of our energy concept by constructing offshore wind plants and bio-mass power stations, which in the future are due to gain crucial importance within the regenerative power sector.

• Electricity

With the liberalization of the European electricity market it has now at last become possible for consumers to freely choose which power company they wish to be supplied by. We too are on the threshold of offering our regenerated electricity directly to both private and commercial customers. This year the supply companies within the unit energy europe AG Group – "unit energy" – will be providing green energy under the brand name of unit[e] to our first customers in England, Wales and Germany (soon to be followed by customers in Austria, France and Italy).

• Energy management

Suitable for both private households and commercial enterprises, our intelligent communication modules will not only facilitate the informed and economical use of the quality product green energy, they will in the medium term also serve as multi-utility systems which can be linked to other service amenities. In future, households equipped with these systems will be able to automatically control all essential functions, affording residents a new quality of life based on a reliable and ecologically safe supply of energy.

• Future

Besides establishing and marketing the electricity brand unit[e] throughout Europe, our company aim in the longer term is also to produce petrol, diesel, heating fuel and heating using the latest range of CO2-free technology, such as the artificial carbonization of bio-mass. This regenerated carbon will for the first time allow renewable energy to be produced, transmitted and sold worldwide without requiring access to established electricity grids. Investment in new approaches and methods therefore represents a key focus of our company strategy.

The global development of the potential resources offered by renewable energy outside the electric grid system on the one hand, and on the other, locally-based generation within the centres of high power demand together represent the two pillars of a forward-looking and decentralized energy policy. But this must also accommodate not only the right of each individual to choose which way the energy he or she uses be produced, but also respect the right of every person on his or her own land to harness the communal energy of the sun and convert and market it with the aid of renewable technology. To advance this vision, the unit energy europe AG evolves strategies and solutions to meet the growing consumer demand for greater autonomy and responsibility within the energy sector, while at the same time strengthening the company’s long-term market potential.
